Niharika Momtaz, a Bangladeshi designer living in Dubai, debuted her magnificent men’s jewelry collection called “Love & Promise” during Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria in Abuja. This alluring collection deftly weaves together art, culture, and history, fusing modern elegance with a hint of whimsical nostalgia.
His Excellency Masudur Rahman, the Bangladesh High Commissioner to Nigeria, and his family were among the prominent attendees at the event, which also included dignitaries, well-known designers, celebrities, and fashion enthusiasts.
“Many of my collections are intended to be unisex,” Niharika emphasized. It’s time to dispel misconceptions and remove labels based on gender expectations so that men can proudly wear and embellish any jewelry they choose.
With her designs gracing Tiffany’s Red Carpet Week during the 71st and 72nd Cannes Film Festivals, Niharika’s artistic endeavors have reached worldwide stages, representing Bangladesh on the world arena.
She also participated in the jury and acted as the official fashion adviser for the Turkish edition of “Miss Universal 2018”.
She has participated in a number of other important fashion weeks, including those in Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka, and London.
Niharika is a Chittagong, Bangladesh native who started her career in fashion design when she was just 18 years old.
She took a decade-long detour into the realm of corporate finance, but she has now fervently returned to her artistic path, designing jewelry and clothing lines.
As a result of this inspiration, her jewelry brands “Outliner” and “1972” Couture Jewelry were introduced in 2012. She pursued her Chartered Accountancy Articleship with KPMG Bangladesh as part of her professional development, it should be noted.
